How am i able to give people the power to dictate my moods so easily. How is it that with a mere sentence my happy mood can be robbed from me by a select few people. What is the deciding factor for me where i cave and let a person in, giving them the chance to hurt or disappoint me. I mean, something must click on the inside, an alarm bell sounds, a light comes on…One second you didn’t give a shit about that person, the next you care and it starts hurting. I think people who want you work so hard to get the alarm to go off, they put in the effort and do the time, persuade it into setting off with cute remarks and flattery. Once they hear it, then that’s it…They have you, and they know just as well, if not better than you do that almost nothing could alter that. So they slack off, an end is put to the flattery and affection. You’re not lonely like you were before you met them, but somehow it hurts even more than being alone.

Attraction typically means that one object is drawn to another. Whether it be the physics definition where attraction refers to gravity or the electromagnetic force, or interpersonal attraction which leads to friendships and relationships. But really, its the same thing. An unknown, invisible force drawing you to another person/thing. Sometimes it’s weak and unnoticeable. Other times it’s intense, so much so that you find it near impossible to tear yourself away from the person at hand. You pay more attention to the curves of their body, the ripples in their skin, and when they touch you back you can feel their fingertips burning holes into your skin, like when their skin hits yours, you feel the best part of yourself being touched. You notice the way they move. The way they are. The way they interact. You remember it all, try to right it down in your mind. Record it. So in a few years time you can go back to read it, and experience it all over again. Nothing in this world is more pleasurable, but at the same time painful than this type of attraction.
